Before joining Tomashevskaya & Partners, Roman was a partner at the Zartsyn, Yankovsky and Partners law firm. There he managed venture capital deals and advised clients on the legal aspects of financial technologies. Roman has also worked as Deputy Head of the Legal Department at Innopraktika, a company that develops technology transfer solutions.
With us, Roman manages unconventional IT projects and provides assistance to startups and ecommerce companies. In parallel to this work, Roman writes books and teaches at Higher School of Economics and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Among his projects are his book “Zakon Startapa” (“Startup Law”) on the legal aspects of IT business, and his participation in seminal collective publications, such as MSU corporate and business law textbooks, and Volume IV of the “Glossa”, “Loans, Credit Facilities, Factoring, Deposits, and Accounts: An Article-by-Article Commentary to Articles 807–860.15 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.”
